What’s the hype about Green Tea?
Although I don’t really look overweight at first glance, I could still stand to lose quite a few pounds.
That doesn’t seem like much of a challenge, but I’ve found that sometimes the fewer pounds I want to shed, the harder it is.
I recently discovered something that works for me and I was able to lose just the few pounds that had accumulated around my middle !
Middle Aged spread is another word for it!
The secret that worked for me was a green tea weight loss program.
Green tea weight loss programs have been around for quite some time, and green tea as a drink has long been known for its positive effects on the body’s metabolism rate. But I had never tried any green tea weight loss diets before because I was always a bit of an unbeliever!
However, after reading so much on green tea and green tea capsules, green tea powder etc etc, I finally decided to give it a try.
It’s not a miracle diet and to be honest, there really is no such thing as a miracle diet but together with just keeping an eye on what I eat in general, I do feel that the green tea capsules and drinking pure green tea did work for me.
So how does a green tea weight loss program work?
Well, most of the time these programs are meant to be followed in conjunction with ordinary dieting activities such as exercise and reduced calory intake. You will not lose significant pounds simply from drinking special teas — unless you completely stop eating solid food while on the program, which is definitely NOT recommended.
So despite what some green tea weight loss programs claim, it’s not a total solution, but it can help you burn up an extra hundred calories or more per day depending on how many cups you drink. While that doesn’t seem like a lot on the surface, those calories certainly do add up in the long run.
I started on a green tea weight loss program about 3 months ago now.
I DO play golf regularly and although that’s not really an aerobic exercise, it does burn up some calories, here in the UK we usually walk the course , we don’t often take buggies so I am able to burn calories on a fairly regular basis.
I’ve been quite careful about what I eat, I’ve cut out bread, potatoes and pasta and I try to eat smaller portions and I really have seen good results, in total, I’ve lost about 13 pounds which I’m delighted about.
If you’re looking for a miracle product that can magically reduce your waistline by several inches and slim you down practically overnight, forget it, it doesn’t exist.
However, a green tea weight loss program can help you slim down slowly, steadily, and naturally if you’re willing to give it a chance.
At least, try adding five cups to your daily routine to see if it helps!
