I have a history of prostate cancer in my family, so I started having checkups.

A very dear friend of mine just recently had prostate cancer treatment. They had to give him prostate surgery, and luckily, everything went very well. Last I heard, he was recovering nicely, and he has every hope that the cancer will be in remission soon. All signs point to the fact that the prostate treatment was a success, but obviously we’ll have to wait and see.

I have a history of prostate cancer in my family, so it’s always been a concern for me. There is a good chance that I may need some kind of prostate cancer treatment or prostate surgery one of these days, so I was watching my friend’s situation very carefully to see how things went. Hopefully I’ll never need prostate treatment, but if I do, I want to be prepared. I want to have a good sense of how things are handled by a competent doctor.

I’ve already started having yearly checkups, because I’ve heard that the success of prostate cancer treatment is often dictated by how quickly you handle it. Prostate surgery works much better when people discover their tumors early, and that holds true for nearly any kind of prostate treatment. This seems to be a general rule with most cancers, and I’m personally taking it very seriously.

Hopefully my friend will fully recover soon, and we can discuss how his prostate treatment worked. I would like to hear about the whole thing first hand from him.
