How to Overcome Obesity with Diet and Exercise
           Obesity can now be considered an issue that people of many countries face. The main reasons for obesity are the sedentary lifestyle and the changes in the food habits. Obesity can occur to people of any age and it depends upon their way of living. Obesity can also result in serious health complications like hypertension, gallstones, diabetes, stroke, cancer to name a few. The only way you can keep fit is to follow a perfect and healthy diet along with regular exercise.
Getting over obesity with diet
           Diet is a major factor that has one’s weight under control and it is important that you include all the nutrients in your diet in a distributed manner instead of accumulating just one nutrient in large amounts. To get started with, you need to shun the habit of eating excessive amount of junk food as they greatly responsible for the accumulation of fat, thereby resulting in obesity.
           For the first few days of diet you need to survive just on fruits juices made from lemon, orange, pineapple, grapes and also juices of cabbage and celery. But before you can begin this diet you need to consult a dietician and then go ahead. For the next few days choose an all fruit diet for keeping the body at a well conditioned state.
           Also include a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet. There are many diets like high protein diet which you can follow for weight loss but make sure you restrain foods that are rich in carbohydrates and also high fat foods. Remember to drink lots of water everyday. You will have to drink atleast six to eight glasses of water everyday to enable the proper metabolism in the body. Chew your food properly; this is an important factor for the metabolism too. Also remember not to eat when you are not feeling hungry. This is responsible for the unwarranted weight gain.
Exercise for fighting obesity
           It is not enough if you just follow a proper diet and lead an immobile life. Regular exercise combined with diet is the right way to fight obesity. The first thing you need to practice is breathing exercises. This is done by sitting at a clean place and breathing deeply and it is best done early in the morning.
           It is not necessary that you visit a gym everyday for exercises. Simple changes in your daily routine can be taken as exercises. For example, you can walk every morning for half an hour and you will find that you feel better than ever before. While at work you can take breaks in between and move about from one place to another instead of sticking to your seat and your computer. Use the staircase instead of the elevator. These are the simplest exercises that you can perform for fighting obesity when it is in the early stages. But when a person is too obese, it is important to visit the dietician and get advice for the diet and the exercise too.
